The biggest upset of the week belonged to North Charleston, who took down 171st ranked Garrett Academy Tech, 50-32.

Woodland extended the longest winning streak in AA Region VI this week by beating Burke, 51-8. The win marks sixth in a row for the the Wolverines.

Ridgeland/Hardeeville's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Derrell Myers threw for 107 and 1 touchdown and Gavin Bush had 71 yards receiving. On the ground Marquis Griffin chipped in 173 yards. Frank Fields helped Ridgeland/Hardeeville's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 32 yards.

Griffin was the most successful running back in the league this week. He ran for 173 yards on 8 carries as the Jaguars defeated Academic Magnet. Myers also contributed to the rushing game with 84 yards on the ground.

Ridgeland/Hardeeville's Myers and Bush led the league in both passing and receiving yards. 6-2 quarterback Myers has thrown for 663 yards this season, while Bush has 25 catches for 310 yards. Nate Schlosser from the Raptors leads the league in rushing with 543 yards.

An important game coming up in AA Region VI this week will be when Battery Creek takes on Woodland. At the moment, the Dolphins are in fifth, while the Wolverines are in first.

Woodland led the league in scoring this week after putting up 51 points on the Bulldogs.
