Softball Recap: Flandreau Takes a Loss

Flandreau was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 8-1 to the Sioux Valley Cossacks. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Fliers have suffered since May 4, 2024.

Flandreau's defeat dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Sioux Valley, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-6.

Flandreau didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 9-2 win against Hanson on the 3rd. As for Sioux Valley, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 7-4 victory against McCook Central/Montrose on the 3rd.
