Baseball Recap: Mainland Find Success

The third road game was the charm for Mainland, as they earned their first road win of the season. They walked away with a 10-6 win over the Trinity Christian Academy Eagles on Tuesday. That's more bragging rights for the Buccaneers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Mateo Bond looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits.

At the plate, Ryan Allen was a standout: he scored two runs and stole three bases while going 4-for-4. Another player making a difference was Slade Suber, who scored three runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Mainland was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .414. The last time their batting average was this high was since the start of last season.
