Softball Recap: Hamburg Takes a Loss

Hamburg lost against Warren on April 11th, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Lions lost 13-3 to the Lumberjacks.

Hamburg saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was A Martin, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run. Melody Miller was another, going 1-for-2 with one run and one RBI.

Hamburg has been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 12 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season. As for Warren, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 13-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hamburg will host Magnolia at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Warren, they will square off against Watson Chapel at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
