Volleyball Recap: Hagerty Has No Trouble Against Lake Mary

Hagerty lost to Lake Mary last Saturday, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Huskies put the hurt on the Rams with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Huskies.

While Hagerty might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Lake Mary scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-18, 25-23.

Kellen Woolm paced Hagerty's offense, picking up nine kills. Woolm got some help from Caden Houston and his 16 assists. Woolm was also a major player on defense: he and Colton Stephens shared the team lead in blocks, finishing with three each.

Lake Mary's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Hyland Huston, who had 13 assists and seven digs, and Miles Alderman, who had 13 assists and five digs. Huston has been hot recently, having posted 13 or more assists the last four times he's played.

Hagerty now has a winning record of 11-10. As for Lake Mary, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-6.

Hagerty didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Seminole on the 17th. As for Lake Mary, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Timber Creek on the 16th.
