Volleyball Recap: Lubbock Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Lubbock was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 17th straight defeat. They came up short against the Lubbock-Cooper Pirates, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Westerners of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-14, 25-10.

Lubbock's defeat dropped their record down to 3-22. As for Lubbock-Cooper, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 16-8.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Lubbock is set to challenge their familiar foe Palo Duro at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Lubbock-Cooper will take on rival Tascosa at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
