Softball Game Preview: River Forest Ingots vs. Lake Station Edison Fighting Eagles

For the second straight game, River Forest will face off against Lake Station Edison. The Ingots will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against the Fighting Eagles at 4:30 p.m.

On Monday, River Forest made easy work of Lake Station Edison and carried off a 17-2 victory. The Ingots haven't had any issues with the Fighting Eagles recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

For Lake Station Edison's part, they saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aaliyah Alderson, who went 1-for-3 with one triple and one RBI. That triple was Alderson's first of the season. La'Mya Brown was another, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base and one run.

Lake Station Edison is on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-13. As for River Forest, their victory bumped their record up to 6-10.
