Basketball Recap: Cheyenne/Reydon Bears vs. Hammon Warriors        
        
		
             On Tuesday, Cheyenne/Reydon faced Hammon in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Cheyenne/Reydon Bears fell to the Hammon Warriors  42-37. The  loss   continues a  trend for the Bears in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now lost five in a row.
 Despite the  defeat, Cheyenne/Reydon saw an underclassman step up: sophomore  Kimbo Denney  went 8 for 20 en route to 20 points plus two  steals. The team also got some help courtesy of  Kinley Goad, who  scored four points in addition to two  steals.
 Cheyenne/Reydon's loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Hammon, they pushed their record up to 6-0 with the  win, which was their fifth straight  at home dating back to last season.
 Cheyenne/Reydon will challenge Sayre at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Cheyenne/Reydon is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 50.8  points per game  this season. As for Hammon, they will face off against Shattuck at 6:15  p.m.  on Tuesday.
