Basketball Game Preview: Durand Bulldogs vs. Orangeville Broncos

The Durand Bulldogs will challenge the Orangeville Broncos at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Monday, Durand had to suffer through a 62-19 loss at the hands of River Ridge/Scales Mound. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 584th, while the Wildcats are ranked 110th).

Meanwhile, Orangeville entered their game against Galena on Monday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. Orangeville took a 49-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of Galena.

Durand has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-9 record this season. As for Orangeville, their defeat ended a ten-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 15-3.
