Sullivan is 1-9 against Linton-Stockton since August of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Golden Arrows will head out to take on the Miners at 7:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Sullivan is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They blew past North Posey 53-7. The win was nothing new for the Golden Arrows as they're now sitting on six straight.

Clark French had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 253 yards and four scores while picking up 10.5 yards per carry. Those 253 rushing yards gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Zane Catlin, who gained 152 total yards.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Sullivan was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 333 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 150 rushing yards in six consecutive games.
Sullivan didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. Catlin led the group effort, picking up two of those interceptions all by himself. Peyton Carlson was another major factor on D, making ten total tackles (2.0 for loss).
Meanwhile, you're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter and that's exactly how it played out for Linton-Stockton on Friday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that they blew Greencastle out of the water with a 46-10 final score. The Miners have beaten the Tiger Cubs the last four times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Tiger Cubs has come to flipping the script.
Linton-Stockton had a senior duo take command as Paul Oliver rushed for 150 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only eight carries and Cooper Smith gained 124 total yards and three touchdowns. Smith also set a new season-high mark in rushing yards with 116.
One reason for the win was Linton-Stockton's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for three sacks. Leading the way was Corey Andrews with two.
Linton-Stockton's victory bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Sullivan, their win bumped their record up to an identical 8-3.
Friday's matchup might be decided on the ground. Sullivan has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 221.3 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Linton-Stockton struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 264.7 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's contest turns into a tough fight on the ground.
Sullivan ended up a good deal behind Linton-Stockton in their previous matchup back in September, losing 42-28. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Oliver, who rushed for 196 yards and five TDs while picking up 9.8 yards per carry.
