Softball Recap: Minnewaska Area Comes Up Short

After flying high against Montevideo on Tuesday, Minnewaska Area came back down to earth. The Lakers lost 7-1 to the Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta Tigers on Friday. The defeat continues a trend for the Lakers in their meetings with the Tigers: they've now lost six in a row.

Minnewaska Area saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ella Roering, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Minnewaska Area's loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-1.

Looking ahead, Minnewaska Area will challenge B O L D at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta, they will square off against West Central Area at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
