Volleyball Recap: Petersburg Comes Up Short

Petersburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Dinwiddie Generals, falling 3-0. If the Crimson Wave were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Generals when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Petersburg's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Dinwiddie, they pushed their record up to 4-2 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Petersburg will take on rival Thomas Dale at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Dinwiddie is set to face off against their familiar foe Prince George at 7:15 p.m. on Monday.
