Recap: Bradford Tornadoes vs. Dunnellon Tigers
If the Bradford Tornadoes were feeling good off their 52-32 takedown of the Keystone Heights Indians on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Bradford fell to Dunnellon 57-52. The matchup was a 30-30 toss-up at halftime, but Bradford was outscored by Dunnellon in the second.
Tatiana Matthews had an outrageously good game for Dunnellon as she almost dropped a triple-double on 33 points, 9 rebounds, and 12 steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Matthews has scored at least 25% of Dunnellon's points. Another player making a difference was Princess Hardin, who scored 12 points along with 6 rebounds and 3 steals.
Bradford's loss dropped their record down to 2-1. As for Dunnellon, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.
Bradford will head out on the road to face off against Suwannee at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Dunnellon is on the road again on Saturday and play against Gainesville at 12:00 p.m. on December 2nd. Gainesville comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
