Soccer Game Preview: Tuloso-Midway vs. Jones

The Tuloso-Midway Warriors & Cherokees will square off against the Jones Trojans at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Tuloso-Midway comes in on three and Jones on six.

While Tuloso-Midway's win against Calallen wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. Tuloso-Midway beat Calallen by a goal, winning 2-1. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but the Warriors & Cherokees were the better team in the second half.

Meanwhile, Jones got the win against Ingleside on Friday by a conclusive 4-1. The Trojans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matchups by three goals or more this season.

Jones' victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-7-1. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 26 goals over those four games. As for Tuloso-Midway, their win bumped their record up to 8-10.
