With a playoff win on the line, West Orange rose to the challenge on Friday. They beat the Lake Brantley Patriots by a goal, winning 2-1. Winning may never get old, but the Warriors sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Emma Carroll and Georgiana McNeil scored both of West Orange's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 15 goals.

West Orange is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-3-1 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 60 goals over those ten contests. As for Lake Brantley, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-6-1.

West Orange didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 4-0 loss against Lake Mary on the 29th. Lake Brantley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
