Softball Recap: Wahkiakum Takes a Loss

Wahkiakum was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 12-8 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Ocosta Wildcats.

Evy Hogue was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Amy Horman, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-4.

Wahkiakum's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Ocosta, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Coincidentally, Wahkiakum and Ocosta will both be playing Naselle the next time they take the field. Ocosta will head out to face Naselle at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, while Wahkiakum will head out to face them at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
