Football Recap: Somerset Berkley Regional Falls to Hanover in First Game of Season

Somerset Berkley Regional had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They had to suffer through a 34-7 loss at the hands of the Hanover Hawks. While losing is never fun, the Raiders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts football rankings (they are ranked 76th, while the Hawks are ranked 20th).

Looking ahead, Somerset Berkley Regional will be playing in front of their home fans against Fairhaven at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Hanover, they are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will challenge Hingham at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
