Baseball Recap: Farmington Finds Home Field Redemption Against Annawan-Wethersfield

Farmington's found some homefield redemption this week after a overtime loss to Sherrard on Wednesday. The Farmers came out on top in a nail-biter against the Annawan-Wethersfield Titans, sneaking past 4-3. This was payback for the Farmers, who suffered a 6-1 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Carter Lambin was excellent, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Jacob Evans, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

Farmington's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-3. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.8 runs over those games. As for Annawan-Wethersfield, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-5.
