Jordon Dobson leads Starmount to victory over West Wilkes

Recap: Starmount Rams vs. West Wilkes Blackhawks
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Wilkes Central, the Starmount Rams were happy to have found some success on Tuesday. They came out on top against West Wilkes by a score of 58-47. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Starmount also won the last time the pair played last Tuesday.
Jordon Dobson was the offensive standout of the match as he scored 26 points along with 8 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Jadon Hurt-bailey, who scored 6 points along with 7 rebounds and 6 assists.
Starmount now has a winning record of 2-1. As for West Wilkes, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-4.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Ashe County the next time they take the court. West Wilkes will head out to face Ashe County at 8:00 p.m. on Friday, while Starmount will head out to face them at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
