Flag Football Recap: Mundelein Comes Up Short

Mundelein fell victim to Zion-Benton and their airtight defense on Saturday. They were outmatched by the Zee-Bees and fell 27-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Zee-Bees this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 46-12 back in August.

This is the second loss in a row for Mundelein and nudges their season record down to 3-8. As for Zion-Benton, they pushed their record up to 8-4 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mundelein will welcome Lake Zurich on Saturday. As for Zion-Benton, they will host Wheeling at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Zee-Bees will be up against the Wildcats' rather soft defense (which has allowed 33 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
