North Miami dropped their record down to 13-3 on Tuesday, which also ended the team's seven-game streak of wins. They came up short against the Western Panthers, falling 12-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Warriors have suffered since June 1, 2024.

North Miami saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jake Riley, who went 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

As for Western, they have been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 13 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-3 record this season. The result was nothing new for Western, who have now won eight games by six runs or more so far this season.

On Western's side, Gavin Denton was a standout: he went 1-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. That home run was Denton's first of the season. Ryan Rodman was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

North Miami and Western should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Indiana Rankings. The Warriors (ranked 130th) will meet Culver Community (ranked 359th) at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Western will take on Taylor at 5:30 p.m. on Friday with a big rank advantage (51 vs. 346).
