Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask South Hills). Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Polytechnic Parrots a 10-0 shutout on Tuesday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Scorpions considering their one-run performance the contest before.

South Hills' victory ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 5-9-2. As for Polytechnic, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-8-1.

South Hills will have a chance to go back-to-back against Polytechnic: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
