Softball Recap: Thursday's Win Is Caldera's Tenth in Last 13 Outings

Caldera won against Redmond on Wednesday with 17 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Thursday. Caldera beat Redmond by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 17-1. Considering Caldera has won nine matchups by more than six runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Caldera is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 13 games. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-12 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.4 runs over those games. As for Redmond, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-16-1.

Caldera has already played their next contest, a 15-14 win against Summit on the 16th. As for Redmond, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 12-0 loss against Ridgeview on the 16th.
