Softball Recap: Bishop Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

While Bishop's win against United wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Badgers won by a run and slipped past the Longhorns 3-2. Winning may never get old, but the Badgers sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Bishop's victory bumped their record up to 7-2. As for United, they dropped their record down to 6-7 with the loss, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bishop will host Calallen at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Badgers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Wildcats have averaged an impressive 7.1 runs per game this season. As for United, they will take on South San Antonio at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
