DE SOTO, Texas -
Chris Lacy caught four touchdowns as
DeSoto (De Soto, Texas) beat Mansfield (Texas) 54-14 on Saturday.
After taking the lead on a touchdown pass by
Desmon White to Lacy in the first quarter, the Eagles were up 27-7 at the half.
DeSoto grew its lead to 34 points entering the fourth quarter. DHS scored two times in the third, including once on a White touchdown pass to Lacy.
Tristen Wallace and
Jatory Sparks-brown ran for a bunch of touchdowns for the Tigers. Wallace scored two touchdowns on the ground and Sparks-brown added two as well.
Coming into the game the De Soto school had allowed 20.0 points per game this year.
Mansfield (5-5) goes up against Duncanville when they take the field next week. The Panthers enter the tilt sporting a 4-5 record for the season.
