Gruver made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Follett, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Greyhounds blew past the Panthers 16-1 on Monday. The win was familiar territory for the Greyhounds, who have now won seven games in a row.

Gruver's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-4. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 10.7 runs. As for Follett, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Coincidentally, Gruver and Follett will both be playing Sunray the next time they take the field. The Panthers will host the Bobcats at 5:45 p.m. on Friday, while the Greyhounds will host them at 4:00 p.m. on the 15th.
