Basketball Game Preview: Panorama Pythons vs. Sun Valley Magnet Pioneers

The Panorama Pythons and the Sun Valley Magnet Pioneers will round out the year against one another at at 11:30 a.m. on Monday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses apiece.

Two weeks ago, Panorama lost to Canoga Park on the road by a 67-48 margin.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Wisdom Erhabor, who posted 14 points and five steals. Panorama is 5-2 when Erhabor posts three or more steals, but 1-2 otherwise. Eddie Munguia was another key player, putting up nine points and four steals.

Meanwhile, Sun Valley Magnet took a blow against Cleveland on Friday, falling 95-12. The game marked the Pioneers' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Sun Valley Magnet now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Panorama, their loss dropped their record down to 6-4.

Panorama didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Sun Valley Magnet when the teams last played back in November, but they still walked away with a 64-59 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Panorama since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
