Volleyball Game Preview: Walsh Jesuit Warriors vs. North Royalton Bears

The Walsh Jesuit Warriors will take on the North Royalton Bears at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.

Walsh Jesuit is headed into the matchup having just suffered their biggest loss since September 4th on Thursday. They lost 3-0 to Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin. The defeat continues a trend for the Warriors in their meetings with the Lions: they've now lost seven in a row.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for North Royalton, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over Stow-Munroe Falls on Thursday. The Bears haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

The victory didn't come easy: Stow-Munroe Falls scored at least 19 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 24-26, 25-19, 25-23.

Walsh Jesuit's loss dropped their record down to 9-9. As for North Royalton, the win also got them back to even at 9-9.

Walsh Jesuit might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from North Royalton in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. Can the Warriors avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
