Kiona-Benton is 9-1 against Connell since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Bears will face off against the Eagles at 3:00 p.m. Kiona-Benton's hitters haven't had much luck over their past four matchups, but Tuesday's contest will give them a chance to turn things around.

Kiona-Benton lost 8-2 to Colville on Wednesday.

While Connell didn't have the best season last year (they finished 0-12), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They put the hurt on Columbia with a sharp 11-1 win on Saturday. Considering the Eagles have won five games by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory made it two in a row for Connell and bumps their season record up to 7-3. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 1 runs in those games. As for Kiona-Benton, their loss dropped their record down to 5-7-1.

Kiona-Benton came out on top in a nail-biter against Connell in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, sneaking past 5-4. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bears since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
