Champlain Valley Union has gone 8-1-1 against Burlington recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. Meanwhile, it may have taken extra minutes to finish the job, but Burlington ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They won by a goal and slipped past Rice Memorial 2-1. Burlington haven't had any issues with Rice Memorial recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

Burlington's victory bumped their record up to 4-9. As for Champlain Valley Union, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-3-1.
