Baseball Game Preview: Katz Yeshiva Storm vs. Palm Beach Lakes Rams

The Katz Yeshiva Storm are taking a road trip to challenge the Palm Beach Lakes Rams at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Katz Yeshiva is coming into the matchup on a five-game losing streak.

On Tuesday, Katz Yeshiva came up short against Olympic Heights and fell 10-7.

Abie Kaweblum was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. He has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last five times he's played. Zach Loberfeld also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Palm Beach Lakes). They blew past Lake Worth 18-4 on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Rams.

The victory was their first at home, bumping their record up to 3-6. As for Katz Yeshiva, their loss dropped their record down to 1-7.

Katz Yeshiva might still be hurting after the 14-4 defeat they got from Palm Beach Lakes when the teams last played back in March of 2025. Can the Storm avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
