Soccer Game Preview: Darlington vs. LaFayette

The Darlington Tigers will head out to square off against the LaFayette Ramblers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Darlington can't be too happy about their upcoming road contest considering what happened when they opened their season away from home on Tuesday. They fell just short of Armuchee by a score of 2-1. The match was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Darlington couldn't quite close it out.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last matchup, LaFayette made sure to put some goals up on the board against Chattooga on Tuesday. They blew past the Indians 6-2. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for LaFayette's offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

Darlington got the 'W' when the teams last played back in February of 2024 against LaFayette by a conclusive 5-1 score. Do the Tigers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Ramblers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
