Baseball Recap: Emery/Weiner Takes a Loss

Emery/Weiner lost a heartbreaker to Bay Area Christian when they met back in February of 2024, and they left with a heavy heart again on Friday. Emery/Weiner lost 8-1 to Bay Area Christian. The loss continues a trend for Emery/Weiner in their meetings with Bay Area Christian: they've now lost three in a row.

Emery/Weiner saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bennett Grossman, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3. Grossman is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played.

Emery/Weiner's defeat dropped their record down to 12-10. As for Bay Area Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season.

Emery/Weiner will face off against Second Baptist at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bay Area Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
