Basketball Recap: Pickering Comes Up Short

Pickering was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were dealt a 58-27 loss at the hands of the South Beauregard Knights. The Red Devils were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Knights apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2022.

Pickering's loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for South Beauregard, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

Coming up, Pickering will challenge Singer at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for South Beauregard, they will venture away from home to square off against Midland at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Knights will be up against the Rebels' rather soft defense (which has allowed 53.33 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
