Baseball Recap: D'iberville Makes It Four in a Row on the Road

D'Iberville hadn't done well against Biloxi recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Warriors came out on top against the Indians by a score of 10-6. Surprisingly, this marked the third straight game that the away team has come away the victor.

Ayden Demoran was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than two hits in ten consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-4 with one stolen base and one RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Jaylen Johnson, who scored two runs and stole three bases while going 3-for-4. That's the most hits he has posted since back in February. Cannon Wilson was another key player, scoring two runs while going 3-for-4.

D'Iberville was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .429. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

D'Iberville's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-13. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.5 runs over those games. As for Biloxi, their loss dropped their record down to 9-11.
