Basketball Game Preview: Milton Panthers vs. Pine Forest Eagles

The Milton Panthers will take on the Pine Forest Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Milton is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 55.7 points per game this season.

Milton saw some tournament action last Sunday. They secured a 54-48 W over Vanguard.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Milton to victory, but perhaps none more so than Mateo Robinson, who went 6 of 11 en route to 17 points and eight rebounds. The dominant performance also gave Robinson a new career-high in assists (four). Another player making a difference was Treymar Jones, who went 6 of 15 on his way to 14 points.

Meanwhile, Pine Forest was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Monday as they fell 48-42 to West Florida.

Pine Forest dropped their record down to 8-8 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Milton, their victory bumped their record up to 9-5.

Milton didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Pine Forest in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, but they still walked away with a 48-44 win. Will Milton repeat their success, or does Pine Forest have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
