Deltona won the last time they faced Pine Ridge and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Wolves snuck past the Panthers with a 12-6 win. The final result isn't all the surprising considering the Wolves' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Florida football rankings (they are ranked 107th, while the Panthers are ranked 221st).

Deltona has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 6.4 points on average over those games. As for Pine Ridge, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-8.

Deltona and Pine Ridge are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. The Wolves will challenge Innovation at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Deltona is facing the Bulls at the right time seeing as the Bulls are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Pine Ridge, they will take on Jones at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Panthers 10.1, the Fightin' Tigers 8.2) so any points scored will be well earned.
