Basketball Recap: Four Straight Home Victories for Thompson

Thompson had won three straight home games and Karter Peterson did his part to make it four on Friday. The Thompson Tommies blew past the Four Winds/Minnewaukan Indians 69-47 thanks in part to Peterson, who dropped a double-double on 25 points and 13 boards. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in assists (six).

Thompson has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.1 points per game. As for Four Winds/Minnewaukan, they moved to 9-4 with that defeat, which also ended their five-game winning streak.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Thompson will challenge Oak Grove Lutheran at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Four Winds/Minnewaukan has already played their next contest (against Grafton), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
