Softball Game Preview: West Holmes Knights vs. Madison Comprehensive Rams

For the second straight game, West Holmes will face off against Madison Comprehensive. The Knights will be playing at home against the Rams at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. West Holmes has given up an average of 8.8 runs per game this season, but Wednesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

West Holmes came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against Madison Comprehensive, falling 11-1. The Knights haven't had much luck with the Rams recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Madison Comprehensive has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-7 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.4 runs over those games. As for West Holmes, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-12.
