Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Central of Coosa County). They snuck past the Vincent Yellow Jackets with a 79-74 win on Thursday. This was a revenge game for the Cougars: when they faced off against the Yellow Jackets last Thursday, they had to take a 59-57 loss.

Central of Coosa County pushed their record up to 6-2 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.7 points per game. As for Vincent, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-5.

Central of Coosa County and Bullock County will face off at 1:00 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played. As for Vincent, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Weaver at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Vincent knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matches -- so hopefully Weaver likes a good challenge.
