Softball Recap: Wylie Takes a Loss

Wylie was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 11-8 to the Cooper Cougars. The Bulldogs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cougars apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Wylie now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Cooper, they moved to 11-8 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Looking ahead, Wylie will challenge Legacy at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Cooper, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Abilene at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Cooper is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.3 runs per game this season.
