Basketball Recap: Southwestern Randolph Snaps Three-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Southwestern Randolph's game last Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They snuck past the Providence Grove Patriots with a 58-53 win. This was a revenge game for the Cougars: when they faced off against the Patriots back in December of 2024, they had to take a 52-48 loss.

Providence Grove lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Will Dabbs, who posted 26 points and five boards. Dabbs' evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Andrew Thomas, who went 8 of 16 on his way to 19 points.

South Stanly will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Southwestern Randolph surely won't give up without a fight.
