Preview: Eastern Randolph Wildcats vs. Providence Grove Patriots
Eastern Randolph has been on the road for two straight, but on Tuesday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Providence Grove Patriots at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Friday, Eastern Randolph was the victim of a rough 68-46 defeat at the hands of Uwharrie Charter. Eastern Randolph was down 56-31 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Meanwhile, Providence Grove lost to Randleman at home by a decisive 62-45 margin on Friday.
Eastern Randolph's loss dropped their record down to 4-18. As for Providence Grove, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-10.
Eastern Randolph might still be hurting after the 58-35 defeat they got from Providence Grove in their previous matchup back in January. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Providence Grove's BROOKE INGRAM, who scored 20 points along with six rebounds and three steals.
