Basketball Game Preview: Linville Hill Warriors vs. High Point Baptist Academy Eagles

The Linville Hill Warriors will welcome the High Point Baptist Academy Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Linville Hill is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Monday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Harrisburg Christian 75-45. The Warriors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 games by 26 points or more this season.

Linville Hill had a senior duo take command as Derian Peterseim went 6 of 8 on his way to 16 points and Jerome Stoltzfus went 7 for 10 en route to 17 points. Thanks to that strong game, Peterseim now owns an excellent 40.4% three-point shooting accuracy. The team also got some help courtesy of Drew Tibbins, who posted six points along with six assists and three steals.

Meanwhile, High Point Baptist Academy was able to grind out a solid victory over Mount Calvary Christian on Monday, taking the game 66-53.

High Point Baptist Academy is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.8 points over those games. As for Linville Hill, their win bumped their record up to 21-2.
