Volleyball Recap: Berean Christian Find Success

Berean Christian took a three-set loss the last time they faced off against Gibbs, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. Berean Christian had just enough and edged out Gibbs 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory Berean Christian has posted since August 18th.

Jaidyn Baird paced Berean Christian's offense, picking up nine kills. Baird got some help from Natalie Sherwood and her 15 assists. Mia Jackson and Jordyn Baird kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Berean Christian's win bumped their record up to 3-8-1. As for Gibbs, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-13.

Berean Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 defeat against Franklin Road Christian on the 9th. As for Gibbs, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-2 loss against Carter on the 8th.
