Soccer Recap: Hillcrest Comes Up Short

Hillcrest lost against Ramona back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Hillcrest Trojans fell just short of the Ramona Rams by a score of 2-1.

Hillcrest's goal came courtesy of Daniel Hernandez, which was the first he's scored this season.

Hillcrest's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2-3. As for Ramona, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hillcrest will welcome La Sierra at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Hillcrest's last four games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Ramona, they will look to defend their home pitch on Thursday against JW North at 5:00 p.m.
