Baseball Recap: Hoboken Takes a Loss

Hoboken lost against Memorial back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Redwings took a 5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tigers. The Redwings' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Hoboken saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was William Herrera, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one run.

Hoboken's loss dropped their record down to 9-4. As for Memorial, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 7-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hoboken will welcome North Arlington at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Memorial, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Ferris at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
