Preview: Redeemer Christian Lions vs. Temple Christian Academy

Last Monday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Redeemer Christian beat the Warriors 55-49.
Davis Lehman was nothing short of spectacular: he dropped a double-double on 19 points and 14 rebounds. He hasn't dropped below nine rebounds for four straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Beau Suarez, who scored seven points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
In what's become a running theme this season, Temple Christian Academy gave their fans yet another huge victory on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 105-53 victory over Berean Christian Academy at home. Temple Christian Academy's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Troy Jenkins was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 52 points and 19 rebounds. He also grabbed two steals for the first time this season. Another player making a difference was Cameron Carpenter, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 25 rebounds.
Redeemer Christian is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-11 record this season. As for Temple Christian Academy, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-4.
Thursday's match is one where the number of possessions is likely to be a big factor: Redeemer Christian have been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 36.9 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Temple Christian Academy struggles in that department as they've been averaging 62.5 rebounds per game. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
Redeemer Christian came up short against the when the teams last played back in January of 2023, falling 59-53. Thankfully for Redeemer Christian, Travon Miller (who dropped a double-double on 24 points and 13 rebounds) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
