Baseball Recap: Central Comes Up Short

Central lost to Metro Tech back in March and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bobcats came up short against the Knights, falling 26-3.

Javier Liu Godinez made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and got on base in both of his plate appearances with three stolen bases and two runs. Another player making a difference was Steven Beltran Garcia, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base and one run.

Central's record is now 0-17. As for Metro Tech, with the victory, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 5-10.

Coming up, Central will square off against North at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Bobcats are facing the Mustangs at the right time seeing as the Mustangs are stuck on a 13-game losing streak. As for Metro Tech, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 13-3 win against Sierra Linda on the 24th.
