Basketball Recap: Woonsocket Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Woonsocket extended their losing streak to three on Friday, dropping them down to 1-12. They had to suffer through a 74-27 loss at the hands of the East Greenwich Avengers. The Villa Novans lost against the Avengers in their previous head to head back in February of 2025, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 69-46 score last time.

As for East Greenwich, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season. That looming 74-27 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for them yet this season.

Quinn Scaramella produced another solid effort putting up 18 points. Another player making a difference was Aidan Glynn, who posted 13 points.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Woonsocket will face off against rival Coventry at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, East Greenwich is set to take on their familiar foe Rogers at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
